ABSTRACT
The International Space Station (ISS) is a multinational laboratory in space involving Europe, America and Asia. It is the world’s largest international cooperative programme in science and technology to date. It has been continuously inhabited by humans since November 2000. Nine European control centres monitor and control the payloads on board ISS. The Norwegian User Support and Operation Centre (N-USOC) has been operating since 2006.
