ABSTRACT
Wind loading represents an important class of action that needs to be provided for in structural design. The variable nature of the occurrence of strong wind conditions is a critical aspect of this type of structural loading that can only be treated probabilistically. Wind loading consists of the natural free field wind and its transfer as wind pressure on the structure.This paper is concerned with probability models for the time variant natural wind conditions.
