ABSTRACT
Stabilizing effects of adjacent structural elements are often taken into account in the verification of sufficient structural safety of beams and beam-columns (members) that are susceptible in terms of flexural torsional buckling. The connections as well as the stabilizing elements themselves must be able to transfer the stabilization forces.
