ABSTRACT
The applied load and boundary conditions were designed in such a way as to load the specimen with a combination of axial compressive load and bending moment. Apart from allowing a free horizontal displacement, the simple support also prevented the appearance of a horizontal reaction force that would lead to the change of the bending moment diagram in the tested specimen.
