ABSTRACT
Kruger et al. (1995), showed that deformations caused by axial and shear forces are negligible in comparison to in-plane rotational deformations caused by the bending moment at the connection.As a result only the in-plane rotational deformations will be considered in this study. Since no connection is infinitely rigid or perfectly pinned, the real behaviour of a connection lie somewhere between these theoretical conditions.
