ABSTRACT
It was chosen to test four different angles (15◦, 30◦, 45◦ and 67.5◦) plus pure tension and pure shear.
Bolts were tested with thread and shank in the shear plane. From both types a low strength and a high strength bolt was chosen. For the high strength bolts with shank in the shear plane an additional test series was conducted with pre-loaded bolts to see whether this has any influence on the behaviour.
