ABSTRACT

Since full-scale tests are time consuming and expensive, further influences were analysed by means of numerical simulations with the Finite-ElementAnalysis-Software Abaqus (2009). At first, nonlinear three-dimensional models were developed and calibrated based on the test data of six tests (Table 1). The concrete body of the slabs, the support and the load plate were modeled by 8-node volume elements considering the symmetry in transverse direction (Fig. 1). For the concrete, the plasticity theory based model Concrete Damaged Plasticity was used.
