Sensitivity analysis of coupled crowd-structure system dynamics to walking crowd properties

The natural frequency fos and damping ratio ζos of the occupied structure are chosen to represent dynamics of the occupied structure. Crowd’s properties mc (Case 1), kc (Case 2), and cc (Case 3) are then changed one at a time and their effect on fos and ζos of the occupied structure are calculated.
