The reinforcing steel was of the type BSt 500 with yield and ultimate strengths of 550 MPa and 630 MPa respectively. Steel fibers (F1) having tensile strength of 2500 MPa and dimensions of 17 mm in length and 0.15 mm in diameter were used.
