ABSTRACT
Pumice and scoria aggregates were sampled from two locations in Tanzania. All the materials used namely, Portland cement, natural sand, water and the aggregates were tested and found to comply with the relevant standards. All relevant physical properties of the LWA to be used in mix design were also determined.
