ABSTRACT
The Okavango River Bridge is located in Northern Namibia at the start of the Caprivi Strip.The bridge, constructed in the 1970’s, was originally designed to carry a 60 tonne army tank on top of the 5.5 m wide deck. As a result, all structural elements are robust and heavily reinforced.
