ABSTRACT
The recorded input excitations in the 2011 Great East-Japan Earthquake are still below the design and seismic-design ground motions. The building experienced intense shaking for about 10 minutes with PGA 0.80-1.40 m/s2 but survived the earthquake without structural damage.
