ABSTRACT: Weather disaster is one of the most common natural disasters. Weather disaster accounted for about 70% of natural disasters. Its negative impact on national economy is growing. At present, the study on weather disaster risk is mostly for single hazard-affected body. With the economic and social development in recent years, weather disaster risk is appearing more “system” characteristics. Weather disaster not only directly impact on hazard-affected body, but also on other bodies through the direct victims. In general, the influence of the direct victims transmits to other bodies in some diffusion ways, but we know a little how disaster risk diffuses. Taking the weather disaster risk as an example, in this paper, we propose the concept of diffusion of disaster risk and study the diffusion mechanism of the disaster risk. Using the fuzzy mathematical analysis, information diffusion and other methods, we study how weather disaster risk produces, and how it develops. It provides the analysis method and the calculation model for more reasonably and more comprehensively understanding the diffusion of weather disaster risk.
