ABSTRACT
We introduced this volume by naming the knock against organic field crop production, namely, that strategies to manage energy, nutrients, and weeds are evolving too slowly. We conclude from the work reported here that the tool box for organic producers continues to expand in an affordable way, that organic field cropping has clearly identifiable strengths, but certainly challenges remain. In this final chapter, we cut across the chapters to summarize those strengths and remaining challenges.
