ABSTRACT
First of all, it is important to look at the recent transition from the INI system to the PND. From a business user acceptance perspective, managing the process of transition from one system to another is significant. Identifying any business benefits directly attributable to the system greatly depends on people
engaging with it and accepting the system in line with its intended business use, and the long-awaited PND vitally enables the sharing and linking of police information for investigative purposes. It is, therefore, important that some initial research is carried out to provide insight and understanding of how the INI system was used by police forces before the PND and the expectations of future PND users following its recent implementation.
