ABSTRACT
In this chapter, we discuss some of the pertinent issues associated with the secondary investigation of specific offenses that may form part of honorbased violence (HBV). This will not be a specific guide to investigation of these offenses per se, as that is beyond the scope of this book. However, the aim is to highlight to the reader some of the unique conditions that may exist when HBV is an issue. We do not intend to repeat what has already been written in this book, but this section should arm the reader with additional tools and knowledge specific to individual offenses.
