ABSTRACT

In this book, we have attempted to give an overview of the current state of knowledge about honor-based violence (HBV) and how this can be applied to policing and prevention. As we have noted, HBV is a complex issue requiring carefully considered strategies to combat it. In this final chapter, we wish to provide a brief summary of what we have discussed in order to illustrate both what we know and what we don’t yet know about HBV, and provide some suggestions for future work and some key take-home messages.
