ABSTRACT
If today is like any other day on Planet Earth, in the time that it takes to read this chapter, we will have permanently lost dozens of acres of forest lands, not to mention one or two species, all to feed our voracious collective appetites. Moreover, our population will have grown by thousands, many of whom will go to sleep tonight without food or clean water.
