ABSTRACT

A distributed energy system needs to be designed for a hospital in Hangzhou, and the sketch of the hospital’s energy consumption is shown as Figure 1. The high-temperature steam used in hospital is mainly generated from gas fired boiler, and it can be used for sterilizing and stewing after entering into steam-water heat exchanging network. We could also use heat exchanger to heat cooling water to get domestic hot water. In winter, team-water heat exchanging network can also be used for heating. Due to advocates of energy conservation and emissions reduction in our country and the hospital’s own requirements, this hospital decides to build a distributed energy supply system. In this article, therefore, pinch technology in the thermal process synthetic method is used to determine the type of distributed energy supply system in this hospital.
