The research of shear (off) formula anti sliding stability safety factor with safety margin

To check the applicability of shear (off) formula and appropriate safety factor standards, we use geological parameters and sliding mode of weak structure planes in dam foundation which comes from the projects of Three Gorges, Guandi, Gezhouba, Tingzikou, Gaobazhou and Xiangjiaba and make a comparison between front two formulas in the same load and sliding mode. Lack of data, the results in the paper is not comparable to the actual results. All results are only in research areas.
