ABSTRACT
The data exchange between two companies (Fig. 12.5) and their management information system (MIS) can follow one of two approaches:
• Man to application (M2A), where the buyer and seller communicate through the web (web browser), with either a stand-alone extranet application, or with an extranet application integrated into the MIS of another company’s extranet.
