ABSTRACT
A few principles have to be applied in order to start re-engineering: organize around outcomes not tasks, have those who use the output of the process perform it, coordinate information production and information treatment, treat geographically dispersed resources as though they were centralized, link parallel activities instead of integrating their results, locate the decision points where the work is performed, and build control into the process.
