ABSTRACT

The performance of traditional formwork, which this study focuses, is associated to a scale problem and structures considerably larger than human. The size difference between the workers, the formwork and/or the construction element in concrete is huge. And also the time between the beginning of formwork execution and its final state. In the building process are present the risks of falling from height, falling of materials and smashing, often and with high magnitude. Depending on the equipment effectiveness, shown on an appropriate formwork design, these risks may or may not be located at reasonable intervals, duly and previously controlled.
