ABSTRACT
The human resources training has an important role in the reduction of accidents, since workers will know the risks to which they are exposed and the precautions they need to have in their duty.
The employee is entitled each year to 35 hours of training, which may be given by the employer, for training organization certified or recognized educational establishment (art. 131., No. 2 and 3 of the current Labour Code, approved by Law no. 7/2009, of February 12, and amended by Law n.º 47/2012 of 29 August, making the fourth amendment to the Portuguese Labour Code).
