ABSTRACT
Municipal police in Nogales, Sonora say they have arrested a 53-year-old US citizen after he allegedly paid a 15-year-old girl for sex. Kenneth Jerome Turner was stopped Friday night after city police spotted him coming out of a hotel at Internacional and Campillo streets with the girl. The police said Turner protested his arrest, saying that he didn’t know the girl was a minor. He also allegedly accused the police of singling him out among the many men who patronize the city’s prostitutes. The police said they also confiscated a cell phone from Turner that contained photos of the girl in her underwear.
