The interest in nondiffracting optical beams is due to the fact that, under ideal conditions, they propagate indefinitely without a change in their transverse shape [1]. Plane waves, Bessel beams [2-4], Mathieu beams [5-7], and parabolic beams (PBs) [8] constitute the four orthogonal and complete families of ideal nondiffracting optical beams in Cartesian, circular cylindrical, elliptic cylindrical, and parabolic cylindrical coordinates, respectively.
