Millesi16 demonstrated that auricular growth was not halted after a 7-year mean follow-up. • Given that growth retardation is unlikely, surgery can be performed at a younger age,
as young as 5, if a child demonstrates a maturity level sufficient to cooperate with postoperative instructions and restrictions.
