Use of sulfur isotopes on low-enthalpy geothermal systems in Ayas¸-Beypazarı (Ankara), central Anatolia, Turkey

The study area is located around the Ayas¸, Beypazarı, and Mihalıççık settlements and 90 km west of Ankara (Fig. 8.1). Sakarya river, Ankara creek, Kirmir creek, and Ilhan creek run to the Sarıyar dam lake. The Beypazarı granitoid is surrounded by Kirmir creek and Sakarya river in the study area. These granitoid units are most identical with the granite supersuite of central Anatolian crystalline complex in central Turkey (Kadıog˘lu et al., 2006).
