ABSTRACT

ABSTRACT: Based on Mike21 software, a two-dimensional hydrodynamic mathematical model was established. The mathematical model was verified by using the measured data. With the validated model, the simulation of the tidal current near the artificial island sea area was completed. It is found that the current velocity variation and local scour occur between two islands, and the similar phenomenon also occurs between the island and the coastline. It is necessary to consider the influence of project at program selection and construction period.
