ABSTRACT
ABSTRACT: According to the statistical analysis of the accident cases collected from residential engineering, four common types of the accident are showed in this paper. By conducting statistical analysis of the time of the accident, the cause of the accident and the casualties caused by different types the accident; it can be seen that the security situation of residential construction is still serious recently, the confusion of construction management, the lack of supervision and the poor quality of construction workers are the main cause of accidents of residential construction. Taking Tower crane as an example, this paper proposed a method for safety risks control based on BIM, it has certain reference value for controlling the safety risks of residential engineering.
