ABSTRACT
In this chapter, I will analyse a table detailing a set of individuals according to several groups of quantitative or qualitative variables. Two main methods have been developed in France to process this kind of data: STATIS (from the French Structuration des Tableaux a Trois Indices de la Statistique) and multiple factor analysis (MFA).
