ABSTRACT
Thermoplastic foams have diverse applications in everyday life. Thermal insulation, surface protection, sports, recreation, sound absorption, and cushioning are some of the major applications of olenic and styrenic foam products. Extrusion has been conventionally used for producing low-density foam sheet and rods with physical blowing agents in recent decades.
