ABSTRACT
The interventional cardiology community now has 7 years’ experience with modular stent technology, first commercialized in October 1994 by Medtronic AVE. During this period, improvements have been made in deliverability and scaffolding properties with each successive generation. These improvements have continued with the latest, seventh, the S7 Coronary Stent System.
