ABSTRACT

Deployment pressure ranged from 6 to 14 atm with a median of 10 atm. A multicenter European registry is currently underway.

• Very flexible • Low profile • Excellent side branch access • Conforms well to balloon in angled vessels • Smooth vessel appearance post-stenting • Easy stent through stent • Dilatable cells • Visibility • Minimal recoil

The following is a case treated with the Nexus II stent (Muenchen-Bogenhausen performed by Professor Thomas Ischinger). A 63-year-old male with unstable angina, double vessel CAD (100% RCA with collaterals, 80% left circumflex artery) and bilateral internal carotid artery stenosis of 90%. The interventional strategy was to correct the RCA first and then, during a second session, the bilateral ICA problem.
