ABSTRACT
Spectroscopic techniques may be an effi cient alternative to the classical chemical methods used for oil analysis. Easiness and simplicity of measurements are the most attractive features of spectroscopy from the practical point of view. The application of spectroscopy enables development of analytical procedures that are rapid and clean, avoiding extensive sample pretreatment and usage of reagents.
