ABSTRACT
European committee holds that the internet of things is an integral part of future internet and it can be defined as a dynamic global network basis. Based on the standard and inter-operated communication protocol, the “thing”, whether physical or virtual, has identity, physical property and virtual characteristics, possesses the self-configuration ability and uses smart interfaces, thus making it possible to be integrated seamlessly into the information network. The cost to monitor and control one thing practically and in real time is extremely high. However, all the things can be found in the virtual world which can be monitored and controlled at lower cost. As for a real thing, its required applications and operations can be realized only through application and operation of the corresponding virtual things in the virtual world.
