ABSTRACT
In order to guarantee the use of buildings and maximally utilize the limited land resources, large-baseplate single-storey pure basement tends to be applied in many housing estates. Thus, a large area of pure basement exists.The cost of a basement is usually very high, and a rational structure of the basement can effectively save the constructive cost. In addition, the roof is a main aspect in the structure of basement, and the choice of the roof scheme is of great significance as it will affect not only the constructive cost but also the constructive period and feasibility.
