ABSTRACT
Carlo Scarpa is hailed as one of the most famous architect designer in the 20th century. He graduated from Architecture Institute in Academy of Fine Arts of Venice, and acquired teaching post of Architectural Drawing. Then, he worked as teaching assistant in Higher Education Institute of Venice which fixed himself in the architecture education career. Scarpa is a master who pays attention todetail construction. Although he didn’t design large-scale buildings, every piece of his work is extremely fine and smooth. “All connotations of architecture are contained in the details of it” and “the overall is harmonious with details” are the absolute characteristics of Scarpa’s works.
