ABSTRACT
Asphalt pavement is a mixture pavement structure composed of various substrates and cushions and surface layer, which is constructed with mixing materials including mineral aggregate and asphalt that are used as binder material. The construction process of it is as follows: firstly, design the proportion of asphalt mixture; secondly, mix and transport asphalt mixture; finally, pave and roll asphalt mixture. Asphalt pavement has merits of smooth and seamless surface, comfortable driving, wear resistance, small vibration, low noise, short construction period, easily maintaining and repairing, construction by stages and so on. Therefore, it has been widely used in China and has made an important contribution to the economic development.
