ABSTRACT
This chapter is focused on photoelectrochemical water splitting using titanium dioxide, TiO2, as the photoelectrode for photoelectrochemical cells (PECs). It is shown that commercial TiO2 may be used as a raw material for processing of well-dened TiO2-based photosensitive oxide semiconductors (POSs) [1,2].
