ABSTRACT

Currently, in doping control there is a need to identify the cases of use doping agents that are close analogs of hormones produced in the body person, or their precursors (testosterone, dehydroepiandrosterone, androstenedione, androstenediols, etc.). According to the results of classical methods – gas chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry – this fails because of the lack of specific metabolites, and only the so-called atypical changes in the hormonal profile of the athlete (or the change in the concentration relations of certain steroids) are noted.
