ABSTRACT
Here, we review ber-optic probe design principles and describe ber-optic probes for uorescence, reectance, and Raman spectroscopy. We discuss applications for single, multiple, and imaging channels. Probe designs using Bragg gratings and interferometric techniques to measure pH, temperature, and other indirect measurands are summarized by Ronnekleiv et al. [6].
