ABSTRACT
ABSTRACT: The paper’s principal aim is to present the results achieved by the practical application of the energy modelling to urban areas based on two interrelated concepts: energy costs and environmental costs. The analysis has been carried out in three standard Municipalities located in a Mediterranean Zone (Spain) selected on the grounds of their different size and social-economic activities, in order to facilitate the extrapolation of results.
