ABSTRACT
The Ladakhi earthen architecture heritage is suffering an increasing process of decay due to factors like climate change and its related effects such as excessive rainfall, floods, and land slides. However, also the pressure due to modernization on the expectation on living standards and commodities have caused a shift in the perception of traditional building culture.
