Earthen construction in Alto Arnoia river valley, Galicia

The low basin, over which the main rivers of depression flow: Arnoia, Tioira, Castelo and Maceda; contains sediments of several meters deep of clays, sands and loose stones, sometimes with the topsoil layer covered with pebbles (Sanz 1985).
