ABSTRACT
The cultivation of fruits and vegetables and the vineyards are organized in terraces, where the soil is kept together against the winds and the frequent offences of earthquakes.
Nevertheless the settlements along the coast witness the major activity of the inhabitants, fishing, for which construction has been adapted.
