ABSTRACT
ABSTRACT: Full drawdown flushing has taken place at the Verbois and Chancy-Pougny reservoirs, just downstream of the City and Lake of Geneva, in June 2012. About 700,000 m3 of suspended sediments are transported annually by the Arve River. More than 50% of this material deposits in the Verbois reservoir, the remaining being transported towards downstream.
