ABSTRACT

ABSTRACT: Grid energy quality criteria are summarized to derive important indicators for grid energy quality and provide a basis for establishing energy optimization goals. Next, the mechanism underlying the effect of nonlinear load on grid energy quality is investigated before the method for calculating one of the influencing factors, distorted power, and the algorithm for extracting distorted signals based on adaptive notch filter are presented. Finally, a solution to optimizing grid energy quality by compensator control of distorted signals of nonlinear load is provided, and the optimization effect is simulated and examined to arrive at the anticipated grid energy optimization effect. In the final discussion, some of the drawbacks of the optimization solution discussed herein are pointed out and the outlook on future work on grid energy optimization is provided.
