ABSTRACT
This paper will be focused on the knowledge acquisition for the development of an expert system. The process of knowledge acquisition is a major step in developing an expert system and is considered as one of the most difficult stages, Asharafi et al. (1995) and Maher et al. (1984). This difficulty is due to the lack of an efficient, reliable and standard methodology for extraction and organization of knowledge from various sources.
