In this paper, the development of the Direct Partial Logic Derivatives application in reliability analysis is considered and new definitions of the derivatives that are named as the union and the merge of unions of Direct Partial Logic Derivatives are proposed. The new definitions allow uniting two conceptions: the Direct Partial Logic Derivatives and the Minimal Cut Sets. Based on these Direct Partial Logic Derivatives, new definition and algorithms for calculation of IMs as the Structural Importance, Birnbaum Importance and FussellVesely Importance are proposed in this paper.
